    Default Serious GAS

Cruisin ebay, even though I despise ebay I like to see what is there, and what is up for auction?? 1969 ES-330. For 2K.
I am 6 months away from having enough cash to buy this. I sent the seller an email saying that if she did not get the price I would definitely pay it when I get the money AND pay for shipping and insurance to Canada.
Maybe - just maybe, you never know.
There is another seller selling a 2003 ES-335 Dot Reissue, in cherry for $1,200.00. Maybe a good price but thwe previous owner converted it to a right hand guitar!! Geez - why not just buy a right handed one!! Arggggh! A left handed guitar that you have to convert to left hand.
I have to say that this is the first time I have seen anything on ebay for left hand guitars that got my heart rate up.

    Carefulll BRIAN,
EBAY is NOT the place to BUY VINTAGE.

A VINTAGE GUITARS IS LIKE A VINTAGE CORVETTE EVERYTHING PRICE WISE IS BASED ON ORIGINALITY !!!!!

CHECK VINTAGE GUITAR MAGAZINE ...99% of these dealer have great reps and are known for VINATEG AX"S

THE ES-330 is one of MY FAV ES models and I have a 66 and LOVE IT but IT MUST BE CORRECT !!!
\IF not for 2500.00 get anewer one of MUSICIANS:S FRIEND
I can probably get a discount or help ya get a CORRECT VINTAGE ONE.

LET me help ya out bro....
Beware of the LOW priced 335 is sounds like that' sa TRANSPARENT FINISHED ONE WITH THE MATTE FINISH AND THEY ARE BOTTON OF THE BAREEL 335's.
NEW they were 1399.00 that year.
CHECK OUT A NEW H-535 from KALAMAZOO where they made the original 335's when Gibson was in Kalamazoo/

Contact WHICHITA BAND/EM SHORTS GUITARS in Kansas,..you can search them on ebay or Google.
They use the ORIGIANAL MOLDS from the ORIGIANL 335 when they made the 335's there when it was the GIBSON plant and still have 50% of GIBSON employees who did not leave,'
THERE QUALITY IS EQUAL AND PRICE IS FAIRER THAN GIBSON....
YOU CAN GET A TOP OF THE LINE ONE OF 1700,.00 and a plain natural for around 1250.00

FOR about 2500.00 they have a ROY....(the guy from HE HAW)....model that is GORGEOUS !!!

    James

EVERYTHING IS THE SAME....HARDWARE, WOOD, PUPS AND ELECTRONICS There LESPAULS models H-150 are great and cost 1200.00 NEW !!!!

A GREAT AX FOR THE GIBSON LOVER WHO WANTS THAT GIBSON QUALITY AND TONE FOR A MODEST PRICE AND USA BUILT !!!

I have a HERITAGE LES PAUL....and it is FANTASTIC and 96 and is BETTER than a lot of PAULS I have owned.

YOU WILL NOT BE STEPPPING DOWN BUYING ONE OF THESE,ACTUALLY THEY ARE A BETTER BUY, YOU REALLY GET YOUR MONEY"S WORTH FOR THIS AX !!!!
    YOU"RE DAMN RIGHT

Everytime I find another old thread, it always has something I was thinking about. Here it is gassing for a ES-330. Check the bay, ok but M/F has them for $2500.00 with some type of warranty. And a year no interest. Now do I need another ES model?

'course you do. Always room for another guitar as my ol grandfather said*

*except that he died 10 years before I was born but I am sure he'd have said that.
History is only important when you are making it

    BRIAN
CMON BUDDY I THOUGHT WE TALKED AND SAID A NEW ONE AT MY DISCOUNT IS THE WAY TO GO
REMEMBER BUYING VINTAGE IS LIKE BUYING A CORVETTE EVERYTHING BETTER BE ORIGINAL AND TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU EVERYTHNG PRETTY MUCH ON EBAY IS NOT WHATT THEY CLAIM IT TO BE>
SURE THERE ARE SOME HONEST PLAYERS OUT THER E like SA GUITAR AND WICHITA BAND AND AZALEA 59 BUT TRY TO PICK EM OUT

When buying anythng VINTAGE you shou dfirst do a tojnof research second if they say I donlt now much about it,.l..MOVE ON

ANY vintage owner knows his ax insdie and out......you shoud be able to ask to see the inside cavities where the pusps go the numbers on the pots.....the dating in the neck....what type of neck

IMO at this point either pay someone you know and trust for VINTAGE or Just get a NEW LESPAUL for 1500 MY PRICE and be happy with it and a warranty

    LET'S TALK AGAIN OK

    JAMES
    S

THINK >>>>>PLUS WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN A NEW AX WITH A WARRANTY IN THE COLOR YOU WANTA AND AGAIN WITH A WARRANTY @!!!!

James - this is a VERY old thread that was revived. It is probably 6 months old or maybe even older. Still planning on going the way we discussed last month. Let's talk after the race on Sunday??
