Thumbs up Tom Attah - Acoustic Blues

    Hi All,

I'm thinking about releasing an album for Tom Attah on my own label this year. Whereas I do understand the complications, pitfalls, etc. I would also be very interested and grateful to get feedback from Blues fans about Tom's music.

"Born in the South of England, UK-based bluesman Tom Attah travelled North to study music in the Steel City of Sheffield at the end of the 20th century and has been based in Yorkshire for over a decade, travelling around the UK and Europe singing and playing his original, acoustic blues."

    Here's a link to a free download:

He also has a Myspace page where you can hear more:

Any feedback would be most welcome

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

Great sound - and a real "fresh" take on it too whilst still kinda true to the old ways. Impressive.

Hooked up to Tom on both "personal" and "musical" MySpace pages and added him to the front
page of friends so others can see him. Would be nice to hear more.....

But please - no jokes along the lines of "You say Tom Attah, I say Tom Artoh....."

    LOL

Glad you like it and thanks Thermionik. My favourite is "Drunk Man Sings The Blues" on his Myspace page. Have a listen when you get the time!

    Cheers

He has a great sound. I have listened on computer speakers and that isn't the best for evaluating music.I liked his stuff though.
History is only important when you are making it
