Default My new budget set up a success

Thanks to you guys with suggestions,

Found an internet music store that had a Lace Huntington (strat copy) on sale for 110.00 Lace pickups alone are worth it in my opinion. Still new in the box. New it costs 175-225. I read some good reviews on the guitar so I said three Hail Marys and bought it.
From Guitar Center got a Nice amp, a Raven rg20 20amps for 79.00 on sale from 99.00.

Ok I am very pleased! This guitar is Pretty darn nice for the $$$. I have had some nice Gibson guitars when I was younger and this thing could very well keep up. To single and a humbucker. Kinda like a fat strat I suppose, Not to sure about the tuners though. I do have to keep adjusting the B and G even after some serius bending while practicing could still be stretching I guess.
Pickups are quiet and sweet sounding and a nice c shape neck. Pretty smooth for an idiot like me.
Action is low and smooth. I may bring it to GC for a set-up as the Fat E does have a slight little buzz.

The amp is also a great bargan. 12" speaker two channel, Although I like a clean sound, it does have a Lead channel with some decent gain and a moderate reverb/delay setting. Clean channel is very crisp and pretty quiet. (Also has a built in tuner...sweet)

Highly recommend these for those of you like me, not a pro and just starting out...............again. lol

Thanks to all that helped me here.
    Tom

Congrats flier - sounds like you got a killer deal there. And even if you end up having to replace the tuners, it ain't rocket surgery.

Just play 'till your fingers bleed, then start practising.....
